Biography

Arbenit Xhemajli is a Kosovo international centre-back who joined Selangor FC in 2026, bringing extensive European experience to the Red Giants. Born in Brugg, Switzerland, on 23 April 1998, Arbenit began his career with FC Zürich before playing for Neuchâtel Xamax, Sunderland and FC Vaduz. He joined Albanian side KF Egnatia in 2023, where he established himself as a key member of the defence. During his three seasons with Egnatia, Arbenit helped the club secure three consecutive Kategoria Superiore titles, alongside the Albanian Cup and Albanian Super Cup. He has also represented Kosovo at senior international level.
