Chrigor Moraes is a Brazilian forward who joined Selangor FC ahead of the 2025/26 season, marking his first permanent move outside of Brazil. He brings experience from both his homeland and Southeast Asia, where he quickly established himself as a dangerous and reliable goal scorer. He began his career in Brazil with Brasil de Pelotas before moving to Red Bull Brasil, later becoming part of Red Bull Bragantino’s setup. To gain more playing time, Chrigor went on loan to clubs such as América Mineiro, Novorizontino, Ituano, and Inter de Limeira. His breakthrough came in 2023 with Portuguesa, where he scored 7 goals in 12 Copa Paulista matches, earning recognition for his sharp finishing. In mid-2024, Chrigor signed with Buriram United in Thailand. He impressed immediately, scoring 7 goals in 14 matches, including appearances in the AFC Champions League Elite and the ASEAN Shopee Cup. Later loaned to PT Prachuap, he became one of the Thai League’s top scorers with 10 goals in 13 games, showcasing his natural attacking instincts. His performances in Thailand attracted Selangor FC, who secured him for the 2025/26 season. Chrigor expressed excitement about joining a “huge club” and is expected to be a key figure in Selangor’s attack, helping the team compete for trophies in both the Malaysian Super League and international tournaments.
