Biography

Jefferson Tabinas is a Philippines international defender who joined Selangor FC in 2026, bringing extensive experience from Japan and Thailand to the Red Giants. Born in Tokyo, Tabinas began his professional career with Kawasaki Frontale and was part of the squad that won back-to-back J1 League titles in 2017 and 2018. He later featured for Gamba Osaka and Mito HollyHock before moving to Thailand with Buriram United. Primarily a left-back, he can also operate as a centre-back and wing-back, offering Selangor greater defensive versatility.
