Biography

Sharul Nazeem, better known as Afro, is a product of the Selangor FC development pathway who has grown into an established member of the Red Giants' defence. A key player in Selangor's President's Cup squad in 2019, Sharul was promoted to Selangor FC II in 2020 and captained the team in the Malaysia Premier League before earning a place in the senior squad later that year. Sharul's progress was interrupted by an ACL injury that has kept him sidelined since 2025. He remains focused on his rehabilitation as he works towards a return to competitive football.
