The Future of Selangor Player Project Will Resume Soon - Mr. Feichtenbeiner

It is a big relief to get good news for the Malaysian Football industry as the National Security Council (MKN) officially granted permission in conducting football training sessions, which will begin on June 15.

Although it does not involve any form of league competitions yet, this news is widely anticipated by many, especially the officials and players.

"I am very pleased with the news and I am looking forward to meeting my players again," said Selangor’s Technical Director, Michael Feichtenbeiner.

Michael is confident that the players are eager to play football again despite having to adhere to the rigorous SOPs while training soon.

"I hope they are in a healthy and safe condition so the project to produce the next generation of Selangor players can be resumed," he added.

The pandemic of COVID-19 happening earlier this year so far has stopped all the professional football activities such as training and competitive matches, thus the green light given by the Malaysian government is something that FAS and the Malaysian football community, in general, looking forward to hear.
