Safuwan: It's Great To Be Back

Safuwan Baharudin has returned to the Selangor FA camp after completing a 14-days quarantine after his arrival in Malaysia two weeks ago.

The Red Giants midfielder is very happy to be back in FA Selangor Training Centre and looking forward to training with his teammates.

"I am very happy to be back with the team after so long. The feeling is extraordinary after almost four months of not playing football and also being on the field with the team," he said.

The Singapore-born player wants to focus on improving his fitness level and regaining momentum on the preparations for the M League tournament which will start on August 26.

"I want to play in the remaining matches and will do my best with the team to finish the season well," Safuwan said.

In the last two friendly games, Selangor has faced Penang FA and UKM FC without Safwan as he was undergoing quarantine as well as in the process to improve his fitness level.

Hopefully, Safuwan will regain his momentum and remains committed to training with the Red Giants to play at his best for the remaining M League fixtures soon.

The Selangor FA will resume the CIMB Super League 2020 campaign against the PJ City FC on 27 August 2020 at the UiTM Stadium, Shah Alam.
