Karsten: PJ City Is Full Of Surprises

Tonight, the Selangor FC team will finish the first round of the Super League 2021 by being the visiting team at the MBPJ Stadium against PJ City FC at 10 pm.

For the record, the last time the Red Giants met PJ City FC was in a Super League match last season with a 0-0 result.

According to Selangor FC Head Coach, Karsten Neitzel, PJ City FC is a team full of surprises but confident in the abilities of its men, especially when its men dropped 2 points after Sabah scored the equalizer in the final minutes of the match last week .

"I don't care how many points they have collected. As far as I know, they have played well so far. They have also managed to pull off surprises in their games. We have to be careful," said Karsten.

"We have to play fast and easy to win. I am confident that we (Selangor FC players) will show a good game play tonight,” said Karsten.

On the positive side, Selangor prolific striker, Ifedayo Olusegun will be the best player for Karsten Neitzel in bringing back the glory after the Nigerian bagged 9 goals in the last 10 games for the Red Giants. The 2020 Golden Boot winner is also the current leading goal scorer chart this season.

As for the players availability, the Red Giants will still be missing Nik Sharif Haseefy (ankle injury), Halim Saari (ACL), Wan Zack Haikal (right knee injury) and Tim Heubach tonight. Read more about player injuries here.

The Red Giants is currently at the fifth position in the 2021 Super League with 15 points from three wins, three draws and two defeats, while PJ City FC is in 6th place.

Tonight's victory or draw will see Selangor strengthen its position in the 5th place in the league, otherwise The City Hawks will have the opportunity to leapfrog Selangor which is only 1 point ahead.

Hopefully, Selangor FC will give a good fight and we will bring home 3 points tonight. Come on you, Red Giant!

Demi kebanggaan.
