Halim Saari Undergoing The Second Phase Of ACL Rehabilitation Program

Selangor FC midfielder, Halim Saari, is currently undergoing rehabilitation treatment in the second phase after suffering an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) in his right leg in the second match of the Super 2021 League against Terengganu FC at the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium.

For the record, this is the second ACL injury of his football career. Halim suffered the first ACL in 2017 with his previous team during the FA Cup semi-final match against Terengganu FC.

According to Helber Ricard, Selangor FC's main team physiotherapist, Halim has given an excellent commitment in the first phase and he is currently undergoing the second phase of ACL rehabilitation.

"Halim is a professional player in his rehabilitation sessions. He follows every plan that has been set. During the first phase, he has done very well rehabilitation especially in keeping his right leg in a strong condition with all exercises done in the gym."

"Now he is in the second phase of his recovery where the focus will be more on the strengthening program with me and Coach Khairulanwar (fitness coach). We are very satisfied with the progress of his recovery," he said.

"Halim is likely to complete his full recovery by the end of this year and will be able to follow the team's training program during the next preseason to prepare for next season's M League competition," he said.

Halim's absence in the Red Giants camp is very much felt because his game pattern is seen in accordance with the DNA of Selangor FC and is able to help the team in making movements in the middle.

Selangor FC prays that Halim can continue to give his commitment to recover and be able to return to the 2022 pre-season with the team. Speedy recovery, Halim!

Further developments on the main team of Selangor FC will be updated and informed from time to time.
