Nor Hakim Gives Credit To Team Mates After Scoring First Goal For The Red Giants

The 6-0 win at the Likas Stadium, Sabah in the Super League 2021 over the last weekend has recorded some new achievements for Selangor FC players individually in their football careers.

Apart from the prolific Red Giants striker, Ifedayo Olusegun who broke the record for top scorer in a Malaysian Super League single-season during the match against Sabah FC, two other players have listed their names on the Selangor FC scorers list after scoring their first goal for the club.

They are Mukhairi Ajmal, a young midfielder who scored during extra time in the first half with a solo run to outrun two Rhinos defenders and finished it with a curler that beat Robson Rendy and gave the third goal for Selangor FC that night.

The second player to score their first goal for the Red Giants was Nor Hakim Hassan who scored Selangor FC's 4th goal in the second half of the match after being on the pitch for less than a minute.

Nor Hakim had the opportunity to share his feelings while scoring his first goal of the season.

"I feel very grateful to be able to score my first goal of the season against Sabah FC and proud of my teammates who have always encouraged me to continue to rise and give my best in every match," explained Nor Hakim.

"Undoubtedly, I am very happy to be able to open the goal account for this club, but honestly I myself can hardly believe I scored that sort of goal. This is all due to the efforts I have made over the years and also the help of my teammates, Alhamdulillah."

Selangor FC congratulates Ifedayo Olusegun, Mukhairi Ajmal, and Hakim Hassan for their individual achievements in the Super League this season. Hopefully, every Red Giants player can record more achievements together this season.

Demi kebanggaan!
