TM Piala Malaysia 2021: Red Giants Aims To Top The Group B Tonight

Selangor FC will visit the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium, Gong Badak for the second match of the TM Malaysia Cup against Terengganu FC today at 9.00 pm.

According to Selangor FC's head coach, Karsten Neitzel, his coaching staff has analyzed Terengganu FC's gameplay and tactics in order to bring home all the next three points to climb to the top of the group stage.

"The Red Giants coaches have provided all the information and prepared the players to play against the Terengganu FC despite having only two days before flying here," he explained.

"I am confident with what we have at the moment and want my players to strive for a victory. Some key players have returned to the team and this will definitely strengthen us more. I am confident my players will give their best for the next three points."

As for the players’ availability, Selangor FC could not list down two imported players from Germany, Manual Konrad and Tim Heubach, and the team’s goalie, Tauffiq Ar-Rasyid who are still in the process of recovering from short-term injuries.

Meanwhile, three other Red Giants key players; Halim Saari, Shahrel Fikri, and team skipper, Brendan Gan are also still undergoing long-term rehabilitation sessions and are expected to return to the team after the end of the season.

Selangor supporters, however, can breathe a sigh of relief because of another two players, namely Syahmi Safari, who underwent suspension last week, and Aliff Haiqal Lau who just recovered from a minor injury.

Another player, Selangor’s towering central defender, Sharul Nazeem is almost recovered from the injury he suffered last week and is expected to return to the team, before reporting for the national call-ups this weekend.

Selangor is currently at the second spot in group B for the TM Malaysia Cup 2021 competition, collecting the same three points with the group leader, Terengganu FC and tonight's victory will definitely put Selangor FC as the group leader.

Hopefully, Selangor FC can bring home the next three points in the TM Malaysia Cup 2021 before the campaign takes a break to make way for the international friendly matches. Come on you, Red Giants!

Demi kebanggaan.
