After announcing 10 players that will remain for next season (#stillRED), as well as the promotion of four Selangor FC 2 players weeks ago, today we announced the list of confirmed players who will leave us next year (#foreverRED).

Selangor FC has officially released a total of seven players who will not remain with us next season this afternoon, which are Namathevan Arunasalam, Sean Selvaraj, Wan Zack Haikal, Tauffiq Ar-Rashid, Shivan Pillay, as well as two imported players, Oliver Buff and Manuel Konrad.

Statistics of the players above while with the Red Giants:

Namathevan Arunasalam: has been with the Selangor FC first team since 2016, played mainly as a right back and has made 75 appearances as well as producing 2 assists.

Sean Selvaraj: started his career with Selangor FC starting in 2018, played as a winger and has made 69 appearances, scoring 10 goals and 12 assists.

Wan Zack Haikal: signed a contract with Selangor FC in 2019, played 20 appearances, scored 1 goal and contributed 3 assists.

Tauffiq Ar-Rashid: has been a Selangor FC goalkeeper since the 2020 season and made two appearances. 

Shivan Pillay: initially with the Selangor FC development team in 2020, was called up to strengthen the senior team in the middle of the league. Successfully made his debut against Penang FC and played in eight matches.

Oliver Buff: is one of our import players from Switzerland, played in midfield, has made 21 appearances, 6 goals and 4 assists for the 2021 season.

Konrad Manuel: is an imported player from Germany, played in defense as a center back, has made 14 appearances for the 2021 season.
