Selangor FC (SFC) is pleased to announce the launch of the new season home jersey through the Selangor Jersey Day 2022 program.

The launch was held at the MBPJ Stadium, Kelana Jaya on 16 January 2022 from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm. Various interesting activities were carried out for all the Red Giants supporters who were present to enliven the atmosphere at the stadium later.

Apart from the sale of home jerseys for the 2022 season, other programs are also conducted such as the Soccer School Clinic which is open to participants aged seven to 12 in collaboration with Team Selangor, Penalty Showdown competition and sales of food trucks and Selangor FC sponsor stalls open to visitors during Selangor Jersey Day 2022.

Today's focus program is Meet & Greet with Baha 'AbdelRahman and Yazan Al-Arab, two new import players of the Selangor FC team from Jordan who have just joined the Red Giants camp training session this week.

The official video of the home jersey for the 2022 season was broadcast live yesterday on every Selangor FC social media platform to further enliven the warmth of Selangor Jersey Day 2022.

The return of red as the main color in the jersey this time with the addition of yellow to mean a symbol of courage, sovereignty, honor, loyalty, pride and success, togetherness through the joys and sorrows of a struggle.

The use of ‘MKLK’, the Merah Kuning Lambang Kebanggaan as the main symbol on the back of the jersey carries a very close meaning to this club.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Selangor FC, Dr. Johan Kamal Hamidon explained about the selection of 'MKLK' as the official slogan for the 2022 home jersey.

"Like jerseys of previous seasons, each season's Home jersey has a very close meaning especially to this club. 'MKLK' is used as the main symbol for this season. The Merah Kuning Lambang Kebanggaan is the anthem that is very synonymous with Red Giants supporters. It shows unity on the basis of love and pride for Selangor FC,

"Not only has it been an anthem since forever, it has also been used as the lyrics and title of the Selangor FC team's sacred song, Merah Kuning Lambang Kebanggaan written by Anuar Razak. The song is also played in every Home match of the Selangor FC team since the 90's,”

At the same time, the Red Giants Non-Fundable Collection (RGNFC) which was launched on 12 December 2021 will also release the next collection in conjunction with the launch of this Home jersey in the form of Non-Fungible Token (NFT) by bidding on pentas.io. This collection is also released limited to one unit only.
