May 29, 2022, Tanjung Karang, Selangor Football Club (Selangor FC) organized the Aidilfitri 2022 Open House with TDC Holdings Sdn Bhd and Tanjung Karang FC which was held specially for the supporters of the Red Giants to celebrate the festive month of Syawal.

The program was also attended by the Guest of Honor, His Highness Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, Raja Muda of Selangor, who is also the Chairman of Selangor FC, YB Tan Sri Noh Bin Haji Omar, Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, Mr. Hafiz Hiew, CEO TDC Holdings Sdn Bhd, Dato Shahrizal Sahri, President of Tanjong Karang FC, Altimet as the rapper and songwriter of Langgam Gendang Perang as well as the players and officials of Selangor FC.

The choice of location for this program at the Institut Pengurusan Peladang, Tanjung Karang is to give the opportunity for the supporters around Kuala Selangor and the Club to get closer because it is the first time Selangor FC organizing such program outside Shah Alam or Petaling Jaya.

According to Dato Shahrizal Sahri, President of Tanjung Karang FC (TKFC), this is a memorable experience for the residents around Tanjung Karang because many folks around this area are also loyal supporters of Selangor FC. "I am very happy when Selangor FC is willing to work together to hold the Aidilfitri Open House here because often such programs are more centered in the state capital which I feel is a bit far for the supporters from here to go. Through such events, we can see the joy and excitement as the people here get to meet and greet with the Red Giants players."

Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Selangor FC, Dr. Johan Kamal Hamidon also said, “This program is also to show that the management cares about reaching out to supporters in all districts around Selangor. We have many plans to bring the supporters in the state closer together with the team and I see this as one of the best examples. Alhamdulillah, the event went smoothly as planned with the support from all parties such as TKFC and sponsors such as TDC Holdings.”

Chairman of Selangor FC, His Highness Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, Raja Muda of Selangor was also present to enliven the ceremony and expressed his happiness and joy with the celebration held this time after receiving a lot of positive response and able to bridge supporters, locals, and sponsor of this Club.

There were various other interesting activities carried out during the program such as Aidilfitri Open House for the fans, buskers performance, sales of the new Selangor FC jerseys, tasting booth by TDC, and friendly chat sessions with Red Giants’ players and Altimet.

Selangor FC also would like to thank those who attended the Aidilfitri 2022 Open House. Hopefully, more programs can be carried out throughout many other Selangor districts that can strengthen the relationship between the club and the supporters.
