Selangor FC will play against Sarawak United FC at the MBPJ Stadium, Kelana Jaya for the 2022 Super League after a long break to make way for the national team.

According to head coach Michael Feichtenbeiner, the coaching staff made the most of the time available while waiting for all the players to return to the Red Giants camp.

"The national players returned to the FAS Training Center last Thursday. Previously we were unable to train using the planned tactics due to lack of players.

However, we took advantage of the few days we had to make thorough preparations before the match against Sarawak tonight, "said Michael

In terms of the presence of players for today's Super League match, the Selangor FC team has not yet had the opportunity to use the services of R. Dinesh who is in the recovery phase from an ‘anterior cruciate ligament’ (ACL) injury.

In addition, Shahrel Fikri and Baha ’Abdelrahman could not play tonight due to minor injuries during training.

Meanwhile, Safuwan Baharudin and Halim Saari could not be with the team due to unavoidable family matters.

However, Red Giants fans can cheer happily with the return of Aliff Haiqal Lau and Brendan Gan on the roster for tonight’s match.
