Selangor FC Soccer Schools Continues at SK Jaya Setia

The Soccer Schools program resumes after being postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which was approved by the Selangor State Education Department (JPNS) and currently operates 12 training centers with 700 kids participants training every week as part of this grassroots program.

The Soccer Schools program organized by Selangor FC is an initiative to provide school children throughout the state of Selangor with consistent and regular football training through active participation from their respective schools. It also aims to provide as many platforms as possible for children to enjoy and engage with football regardless of their ability level and potential.

Located in Bestari Jaya, Kuala Selangor, SK Jaya Setia is the furthest school so far according to the geographical position in the state of Selangor. Therefore, we at Selangor FC would like to invite all parents and students who are interested in developing their skills in football to join this training program at SK Jaya Setia, soon.

When interviewed, the Chief Executive Officer of Selangor FC, Dr Johan Kamal Hamidon said, "This is the best time for parents around Bestari Jaya who wants to send their children to participate in the Soccer Schools program because this is a good opportunity for the children to experience more practical training sessions which will be conducted under the guidance of experienced coaches."

Also encouraging parents to register, SFC Soccer Schools Project Leader, Kanasan Rajagobal said, "This is our third month of running the  program. Thus, I would like to encourage all parents to register their children because I believe this program can hone and improve the skills of playing football besides shaping the personality of the children. I also believe that more registrations will make this program more impactful and successful".
