Selangor FC's development squads, Selangor B23, Selangor B20, and Selangor B18, began training on January 5.

As previously stated, the goal of this development team is to train young talents as young as 16 years old for the Selangor main squad, providing a better platform to showcase new talent while also ensuring the club's long-term survival.

Some changes have been made in 2023. Dennis Bekking, the new Technical Director, will use the approach he has planned to continue the development team's objectives. In addition, several changes have been made to the lineup of players, officials, and coaches for the Under 23 League, President's Cup, and Youth Cup.
