The start of the 2023 Malaysian Super League puts an end to football fans' yearning to see their teams compete. Selangor FC will play Kelantan United FC in MBPJ Stadium tomorrow (February 26) at 8:15 p.m.

This first Super League match of 2023 will be the competitive debut for our new #IsRed players such as Faisal Halim, Khuzaimi Piee, Ruventhiran, Rauf Salifu, Noor Al-Rawabdeh, Ayron Del Valle, and Yohandry Orozco for Selangor FC should they make an appearance tomorrow. 

In addition to new faces, the players who remain with the Red Giants will undoubtedly want to continue their fight in this new chapter with their teammates, after gaining valuable experiences last season.

Selangor FC is ready to face the 2023 Super League, according to team captain Brendan Gan, despite the fact that pre-season began a little late this season.

"Throughout the preseason, the team seems to be more blended day by day between our new imported players, young players and seniors even though the team's preseason started a little late.

“We (Red Giants players) have had some good friendlies recently . However, we are not satisfied as we know we can be at a better level. We have a lot to learn and improve on in order to be an even better team than we were before.

“Regardless of how the preseason has gone, our mindset must be that we are prepared for the game tomorrow. Hopefully, we'll have a successful season," Brendan said.
