The Klang Valley derby resumes this week with the 2023 Super League meeting between Selangor FC and KL City FC tomorrow (March 31) at 10pm at the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium, Cheras.

This will be #KLCSEL's 87th meeting. The Red Giants have won 51 games while drawing 18. Furthermore, the Red Giants have scored 160 goals thus far between these two sides. The most recent meeting versus KL City FC was a 1-1 draw at MBPJ Stadium during last season's Super League.

Aliff Haiqal Lau, Selangor FC's midfielder, hopes to help the club achieve three points in the team's first Ramadan match.

"Alhamdulillah, our preparations have so far proceeded as usual, even throughout Ramadan. The training programme has also changed according to the fasting period, but the hard effort continues in preparation for this match.

"I have faith in my teammates' ability and fighting spirit. We are prepared to give our all against KL City FC. I will support the squad  and hopefully we will produce a solid performance tomorrow, InshaaAllah," said Aliff Haiqal Lau.

As for the players availability, the Red Giants squad remains with a record of no injuries for this match.

The management of Selangor FC is confident in the team's ability to get the best result tomorrow. Come on, Red Giants!
