According to Tan Cheng Hoe, Head Coach of Selangor FC, the coaching staff is proud of the team's achievements because they were able to win all their matches in the month of Ramadan.

"We were able to win all the matches in the month of Ramadan which we already know is not an easy task. We, as coaches are very proud of this achievement. However, there are many things we need to improve for the upcoming matches.

"In terms of movement, we feel that the players are beginning to gel and are acting as a team. This year's squad, if we look at it, is quite balanced from the goalkeeper, defense, midfield and attack, we have a pretty great squad depth. Each player has to perform whenever being called upon to ensure that they are listed in the starting line-up. This is a pretty healthy rivalry for the team," said Tan Cheng Hoe.

From yesterday's #SELTER match, some important things can be seen, such as:-

The Selangor FC striker beginning to show his fangs

Ayron Del Valle, the new import striker of the Red Giants is getting more compatible with the team playing in the Malaysian League. He scored two goals in the #SELTER match yesterday in the 17th and 71st minutes of the match. Ayron's vast experience was on display as shown during his opening goal. His personal statistics for yesterday's match were 2 goals scored, 4 attempts, 4 accurate attempts and 4 touches in the penalty box. Ayron was also chosen as #MOTM (Man Of The Match) with those two goals.

Harith Haiqal introduced himself

The 20-year-old managed to break into the starting line-up for the last two matches, namely #SELSRP and yesterday's #SELTER match. At the same time, Harith scored the third goal of the Red Giants in the 40th minute before the end of the second half of the match. Harith is actually famous for his headers but this time he proved his sharp feet. In addition, his calmness and effectiveness in defending the Selangor goal from dangerous attacks from the opposing team, alongside his center back pairing, Richmond Ankrah.

Among the interesting facts yesterday, six of the main eleven players are under 23 years old, four of them are defenders, Harith Haiqal (21 years old), Richmond Ankrah (23 years old), Quentin Cheng (22 years old) and Ruventhiran (21 years old). The other two players are Mukhairi Ajmal (22 years old) and Alexander Agyarkwa (22 years old).

Aliff Haiqal Lau added his personal record

#SELTER Aliff Haiqal Lau's match goal yesterday has made it his second personal goal with the Red Giants senior squad. Receiving a short pass from Yohandry Orozco he then finished with a goal in the 84th minute of the match. He has now scored one goal and one assist so far.

Noor Al-Rawabdeh is back

The Red Giants central import player returned to the starting line up after not being able to be with the team for one game due to injury in the last #SELKEL match. Noor provided an assist for Ayron Del Valle's goal before the end of the match.

Faisal Halim continues to 'SIU'

Faisal Halim was one of the highlight of the match last night having played for both clubs. He scored a goal yesterday in the 21st minute of the match. In the same time, he has made 3 attempts, 3 accurate attempts and played the entire 90 minutes with the Red Giants. So far, Faisal has scored four goals and four assists.

The management is proud of the action displayed by the team. Hopefully the team will continue to maintain this good momentum in the next match. Come on, Red Giants!
