Selangor FC will face Kedah Darul Aman FC tomorrow (May 24th) in the Super League  2023 at MBPJ Stadium, Kelana Jaya at 9pm.

This is the 122nd meeting between #SELKDA. The Red Giants have won 58 matches and drawn 29. In addition, 267 goals have been scored from the meeting between these two teams.

Selangor FC winger, Faisal Halim, feels that it will prove to be a difficult match against the former head coach but he still wants to give his all in order to win three points for The Red Giants.

"Honestly, I am very excited to meet Kedah because they are one tough team to play against. I know they have many different strategies and often change tactics in matches.

"I am also quite close with coach Nafuzi (Head Coach of Kedah DA), we have worked together for a long time before, and I believe it will be quite tricky for me to play tomorrow's match because it is as if I am going up against coach Nafuzi himself, one of the important figure who helped me make my name in the local football scene. But that's football; as a player, we have to be professional; I'll give my very best effort to assist the club get the full three points tomorrow," Faisal enthused.

Before the interview ended, Faisal teased his old Head Coach, stating, "If I score or Selangor wins tomorrow, I want to take this opportunity to apologize in advance to coach Nafuzi," Faisal chuckled.

As for the players update, according to the Head Coach of Selangor FC, there have been no injuries in the Red Giants squad so far.
