Match Preview PM QF1 | Terengganu FC vs Selangor FC | Round One Of Three

Selangor FC will face Terengganu FC in the 2023 Malaysia Cup Quarter Finals first leg match at the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium today (September 16) at 9:00PM.

Head Coach of Selangor FC, Tan Cheng Hoe, hopes the team will be physically and mentally ready to face tonight's match.

"We did not have a full squad in the previous training session which has somewhat been challenging for the team as they prepare to face Terengganu FC tonight. However, the coaching staff has made sure to prepare the team for this challenge. The team's priority is to expect all players to be in the best condition.

"If we look at the recent record, we have still not gotten a good run of results at the Stadium in Gong Badak. I hope the players are physically and mentally at the best level to face an opposing team which is on good form now. We, the coaches, believe we have lined up the best squad for the first leg of the 2023 Malaysia Cup Quarter-Final," said Tan Cheng Hoe.

As for the players update, according to Tan Cheng Hoe, "Safuwan Baharudin, Zikri Khalili and Richmond Ankrah have all recovered from previous injuries. Apart from them, the other players are match fit for the game."

The management is confident that Selangor FC will be fighting hard tonight to make sure we bring a positive result back home. Come on, Red Giants!
