Match Review PM QF2 | Selangor FC 1-1 Terengganu FC | Our Malaysia Cup 2023 Journey Ends In The Quarter Finals

The Selangor FC squad could not continue the fight for the 2023 Malaysia Cup after yesterday's second round Quarter-Final match ended with Selangor 1-3 Terengganu on aggregate.

The Selangor FC squad gave everything to get the win but only managed to score a goal converted by Safuwan Baharuddin in the 69th minute of yesterday's match. A lot of attacks have been done by the team. Not to forget, the team did their best to defend the goal from conceding, but the penalty goal further separated the goal gap between #SELTER.

According to the Head Coach of Selangor FC, wants the team to learn from yesterday's match.

"Before the #SELTER match, the team was a bit pressured with the fact that we had conceded 2-0 during the first leg at Gong Badak. However, for me, overall we performed well yesterday. Especially in the second half, we were able to dominate the match and create many chances. As a result, we were able to score a goal in the minute 69th. We should have been able to score more goals but we have to learn to accept this result,"

"I am honestly satisfied with the commitment shown by the players until the final whistle blows. In football, with the team under pressure to win, we should know how to control the match well. This is a lesson for the team," Tan Cheng Hoe

Selangor FC management would like to thank the 10,737 supporters who attended and cheered us on at MBPJ Stadium yesterday. We greatly appreciate your presence and the support.

The management hopes that the team will learn a lesson and bounce back for the remaining Super League 2023 matches to maintain the team's current second place position in the league. We are all behind you! Come on, Red Giants.

Demi Kebanggaan!
