With their rising situation, However, the confidence of the players seems very different, even though the team is a bit stressed because they want to win, but they showed the best character last night," praised Tan Cheng Hoe.
From yesterday's #TERSEL match, some important things can be seen, such as:
Yohandry Orozco became the action hero of #TERSEL
Orozco proved his superiority once again in yesterday's match. His two goals in the 26th and 41st minutes have given relief to his teammates and boosted the team's motivation at that time. For the record, Orozco has scored 10 goals with Selangor FC throughout this season, and he is the only imported player who has managed to open a scoring account in the Super League, FA Cup, and Malaysia Cup.
Selangor FC young striker’s second goal
Izwan Yuslan scored the last goal of the Red Giants squad yesterday in the 81st minute as soon as he was brought on. This is the second goal with the senior team of the 2023 season.
Eighth clean sheet in the 2023 Super League competition
The defensive line, Safuwan Baharudin, Sharul Nazeem, Ruventhiran, Quentin Cheng, and Harith Haiqal, and the #TERSEL match goalkeeper, Samuel Somerville, have added to the Red Giants squad's clean sheet total for this season. They have performed brilliantly in defending the goal from conceding any goals.
The management is grateful for the strong support from the Selangor FC supporters who were together at the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium yesterday.
The management also hopes that the team will continue to maintain the momentum of this good performance in the remaining matches of the 2023 season to maintain the best position in the Super League competition.
