Selangor Football Club today proudly announced the convenience store franchise chain from Japan, Family Mart as a new strategic partner to jointly compete in the Malaysian League and ACL2 2024-25.

Family Mart is the second largest convenience store franchise chain in Japan, behind Japan's Seven-Eleven. There are now 24,574 stores worldwide in Japan, Taiwan, China, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia.

This strategic collaboration will showcase the branding of Selangor FC and Family Mart as two companies that are fully dedicated in creating a good user experience among supporters and consumers such as exclusive promotions and special discounts for Selangor FC supporters at each Family Mart outlet. In addition, Family Mart also provides their great quality convenient food products at every Red Giants home match to enliven the fans' experience at the stadium.

This collaboration is also established to hold activities with supporters in the hope of giving back to the community. Among the activities that have been planned are football clinics, health and fitness activities and charity programs for those in need. In addition, Family Mart also agreed to give full support to every Selangor FC development program in nurturing the next generation in Selangor FC football. 

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Selangor FC, Dr. Johan Kamal Hamidon sees the collaboration between Family Mart and this club in line with the vision and mission of both companies.

Selangor FC welcomes Family Mart on this cooperation agreement. Hopefully with this effort Selangor FC can attract more other companies to also become part of the Red Giant family.
