The third round of World Cup 2026 qualification continues throughout the FIFA international calendar from 7 to 16 October.

Four Selangor FC import players have been called up for the third round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers; Umarbek Eshmurodov represents Uzbekistan (Group A) and Noor Al-Rawabdeh, Ali Olwan and Merah Kuning's new import Mohammad Abualnadi represent Jordan (Group B).

Two matches will take place for each country in this third round of 2026 World Cup Qualifiers. The schedule is as follows:-

UZBEKISTAN (Group A)

Oct 10th, 10:00pm - Uzbekistan vs Iran

Oct 15th, 10:00pm - Uzbekistan vs United Arab Emirates

JORDAN (Group B)

Oct 10th, 10:00pm - Jordan vs South Korea

Oct 16th, 12:00am - Jordan vs Oman

So far, Uzbekistan has collected six points, while Jordan has four points, the two countries are at the top table of groups A and B of the third round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.

The top two teams from each group, six teams (Champion and Runner-up) automatically qualify for the 2026 World Cup. Meanwhile, the third and fourth place teams will continue fighting in the fourth round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification which will be divided into two groups, the Group Champions will qualify for the World Cup.

At the same time, four Merah Gergasi local player; Nooa Laine, Harith Haiqal along with two new faces, Azim Al Amin and Selangor U23 mainstay, Haykal Danish have received a National call-up to face the Tier 1 International Match against New Zealand at the North Harbor Stadium, Auckland on 14 October 2024.
