Match Review LS22 | Selangor FC 0 - 0 Sabah FC

Selangor FC earned a point from the  match against Sabah FC yesterday with a 0-0 result.

A balanced match between Selangor FC and Sabah FC. Both teams had many attempts but no goals were scored although Sabah FC had a chance to score through a penalty kick, but Kalamullah Al-Hafiz continued to prove his competence in front of the Red Giants' goal, stopping the penalty.

According to Katsuhito Kinoshi, Head Coach of Selangor FC, yesterday's draw was fair for both teams.

"The pressure for yesterday's match was quite high. Sabah provided a tough competition. They had many chances to score goals, as did we, so for me a draw is fair for both teams. We need to focus on getting more points to stay in the better  position," Kinoshi stressed

So far, Selangor FC remains in second place in the 2024/25 Super League with 43 points from 13 wins, four draws and three losses. In addition, 33 goals have been scored from 20 matches that have taken place.

Next, the team will face Kelantan Darul Naim FC at the MBPJ Stadium, Kelana Jaya, as the visiting team for the 23rd match of the 2024/25 Super League on March 8th at 10pm.

The Management would like to thank the 2525 supporters who attended the match yesterday. We greatly appreciate your voice and support.
