Picha Autra #IsRed

Picha Autra has today been officially announced as the latest import player for Merah Kuning to compete in the Malaysia League as well as international matches; ACLTWO and the ASEAN Club Championship for the 2025/26 season.

He began his career in the Thai League at the age of 18, making his senior debut with Nakhon Nayok, appearing in 19 matches. He made his name with Samut Prakan City F.C., formerly known as Pattaya United F.C., after making 114 appearances and scoring 19 goals as well as providing 13 assists in Thailand Division 1 from the 2015 to 2020 seasons. Picha’s statistics with Samut Prakan City F.C. helped him earn his first senior call-up for Thailand in 2019.

The following year, the Muangthong United academy player returned to serve for four seasons. He was not only a key player but also took on the responsibility as a respected captain among the Muangthong United F.C. players. Throughout his time with the club, he made 159 appearances, two of which were group stage matches in the AFC Champions League (ACLTWO) 2024/25 against Selangor FC.

In addition to his impressive personal record with clubs, Picha also holds a gold medal from the 2020 AFF Championship with the Thailand senior squad and from the 2017 Kuala Lumpur SEA Games with the Thailand under-23 team.

Picha views playing in Malaysia with Selangor FC as a platform to gain international experience, “I chose to join Selangor FC because this will be a personal challenge and a very valuable opportunity for me. Additionally, it gives me the chance to gain international experience and step out of my comfort zone. At the same time, for me, this club is very professional and of a high standard, and I am happy to become part of the Red Giants family.”

Using his experience to give his best for the team, he added, “I want to quickly adapt to the team and understand the culture here, as well as build good relationships with the coaching staff, officials and teammates. I hope my experience in handling pressure and guiding teammates will help me prepare well for the challenges here.”

Picha also left a message for the supporters, “I humbly hope the Red Giants supporters will give their full support on my new journey at Selangor FC, my first foreign club which will surely be full of challenges.”

Selangor FC head coach, Katsuhito Kinoshi, is delighted to have signed Picha due to his professionalism, “With the professional attitude and dynamic midfield playing style he has shown, he embodies the never-give-up spirit that Selangor FC often emphasises. I hope with Picha’s presence, we will continue together as a team to give our best in pursuit of the team’s goals.”

Selangor FC welcomes Picha Autra. May he strengthen the midfield of the Red Giants for the Malaysia League as well as international matches; ACLTWO and the ASEAN Club Championship for the 2025/26 season. #PichaIsRed
