Selangor FC is delighted to announce that Kim Ji-ho, an attacking winger from South Korea, has officially joined the Red Giants family today to strengthen the team’s campaign for the 2025/26 season. 

Born on 28 January 2003, Kim Ji-ho began his football journey at the Suwon Samsung Bluewings Academy before gaining early exposure through other youth setups in his home country, including Seongnam FC U12, Seongnam FC U15, Seongnam FC U18, Yongin Football Center U18 Deokyoung, and later representing Korea University at the university level until mid-2024.

Kim’s senior career began when he joined Suwon Samsung Bluewings professionally on 12 July 2024. In total, he made 22 official appearances for the club, scoring 4 goals and providing 3 assists in the K League 2 and Korea Cup.

Known for his pace and attacking ability on the wing, Kim decided to join Selangor FC because he saw a club whose ambitions aligned with his own and recognised the quality of the coaching staff.

“Selangor FC is an established club in Malaysia and has a vision that I also want to achieve with the team. The coaches and players here are of good quality, and I feel a positive aura being with them. My teammates, coaching staff, and club officials have welcomed me warmly, making me feel comfortable to perform with the team.”

Kim Ji-ho also expressed his excitement about the support from Selangor FC fans, describing it as some of the best he has ever seen, and pledged his full commitment, “The fans here are incredible. Their support inspires the team to give their best for them. I cannot wait to play in front of them and will give everything for the team.”
