Selangor FC are delighted to announce the signing of Malaysian international defender Muhammad Adib Abdul Ra'op as the club's third domestic signing ahead of the 2026/27 season. 

The 26-year-old arrives at the Red Giants following a string of consistent performances with Penang FC in the Malaysia Super League. A graduate of Perak's youth academy, he began his professional journey with The Bos Gaurus before joining Penang in 2022. Since then, he has developed into one of the Malaysia Super League's standout left-backs, earning recognition for his consistency, attacking intent and defensive composure. 

Renowned for his pace, physicality, defensive discipline and ability to contribute in the attacking third, Adib brings valuable top-flight experience to Shah Alam. His versatility on the left flank will also provide Head Coach Kim Pan-gon with greater tactical flexibility as the club prepares for the new campaign.

Speaking on the club's latest addition, Kim Pan-gon believes Adib possesses the qualities that perfectly match Selangor FC's playing identity.

"Adib is a player with power, pace, an attacking mentality and an aggressive approach on the pitch. His profile fits perfectly with the identity and style of football we want to play at Selangor FC. We are looking forward to the energy, intensity and defensive solidity he will bring to the team, and I believe he will make a significant contribution throughout the season."

Adib's consistent performances at club level also earned him a place in the Malaysian national team, where he has continued to showcase his qualities on the international stage.
