Perjalanan skuad Selangor FC bagi kempen Piala FA 2026/27 aksi pertama Pusingan 16 akan bermula esok, 2 September, menentang Sabah FC di Stadium Likas jam 7:30 malam.
Empat pasukan Liga A1 Semi-Pro turut bersaingan bersama 12 kelab Liga Super dalam saingan Piala FA 2026/27 musim ini. Skuad Gergasi Merah telah diundi untuk berdepan The Rhinos dalam Pusingan Ke-16 yang akan dimainkan secara timbal balik.
Ketua Jurulatih Selangor FC, Kim Pan-gon, menyatakan setiap kejohanan sama penting dan yakin pasukan akan berusaha untuk mara ke peringkat seterusya
“Setiap perlawanan amat penting dan kami sentiasa akan berikan yang terbaik, sama ada dalam saingan liga mahupun piala. Kita akan cuba sedaya upaya untuk pergi sejauh mungkin dan membanggakan para penyokong,” jelas beliau
“Perlawanan pertama di tempat lawan di Sabah pastinya akan menjadi satu cabaran yang sukar. Mereka merupakan pasukan yang baik tetapi kita telah membuat persiapan penuh dan bersedia untuk memburu kemenangan esok,” tambahnya lagi
Pihak pengurusan Selangor FC percaya para pemain Gergasi Merah akan berusaha untuk mendapatkan keputusan positif dalam aksi Pusingan 16 pertama sebelum membawa kelebihan tersebut ke perlawanan kedua nanti.
Bagi yang tidak berkesempatan ke Stadium Likas untuk bersama pasukan, Selangor FC mengadakan tayangan siaran langsung di Suasana Market Hall bagi perlawanan pertama Pusingan 16 #SABSFC, esok jam 7:30 malam.

Selangor FC’s 2026/27 FA Cup campaign gets underway tomorrow, 2 September, with the first leg of the Round of 16 against Sabah FC at Likas Stadium, with kick-off at 7:30pm.
Four Liga A1 Semi-Pro sides will compete alongside 12 Super League clubs in this season’s 2026/27 FA Cup. The Red Giants have been drawn against The Rhinos in the Round of 16, which will be played over two legs.
Selangor FC Head Coach, Kim Pan-gon, stressed that every competition is equally important and is confident that the team will give their all to progress to the next round.
“Every single match is important and we always have to give our best, whether it’s in the league or cup competitions. We’ll try our best to go as far as possible and make our supporters proud,” he said.
“The first away match in Sabah will definitely be a tough challenge. They are a good team, but we have completed our preparations and are ready to fight for the win tomorrow,” he added.
The Selangor FC Management believes the Red Giants will fight for a positive result in the first leg of the Round of 16 before carrying that advantage into the second leg.
