Red Giants' are delighted to announce the signing of Jordanian midfielder Baha' Abdelrahman officially today, as our second new import player for the upcoming 2022 Malaysia Super League season.

Born in Amman, Jordan, the player made his first appearance with his home country's senior team on January 24, 2008 at the age of 21 and has managed to play in 118 matches, while contributing 6 goals.
 
Selangor FC head coach, Michael Feichtenbeiner is convinced the 34 year old center midfielder will be able to become an aggressive leader in midfield that will help strengthen our defense.? 

"I was thinking after last season, we need a leader in midfield, who can play as number six, who can organize our midfield in defense, and also help the team in attacks with his experience.

"I have been very impressed with Baha's performances, especially at 34 years old. But for me personally, his age is irrelevant, when more importantly, he brings in a wealth of experience in addition to the fact that his fitness level is definitely still high. He played in all of the last international matches with Jordan (in the FIFA Arab Cup).

Michael added, "He led the team in the Arab Cup in Qatar and was the captain when Jordan played against Egypt in the quarter finals, even playing for 120 minutes, which shows that he is definitely fit enough."

The German also said, "I am very happy to have these two boys (including Yazan) in our team next season. They are totally happy to join our club and want to show something special to Malaysian football."

The 178cm-tall midfielder left a message for the fans :

"I am delighted to join a club as big as Selangor FC. I'll be coming all the way from Jordan and am looking forward to joining the Malaysian league. We will try our best to put Selangor back challenging at the top as where it is supposed to be"
